PeopleAnswers has teamed up with the Rice Center for Organizational Effectiveness Studies (RCOES) to collaborate on the development of the PeopleAnswers assessment technology

Rice University is recognized as a global leader in Industrial Psychology research. Led by Dr. Mickey Quiñones, Rice's Industrial Organizational (I/O) psychology program is concerned with the behavior of individuals and groups in the workplace.

This unique relationship between Rice University and PeopleAnswers affords unprecedented advantages and access to advanced techniques and exclusive methodologies. To insure a constant and strong tie between our two organizations, Dr. Quiñones joined the PeopleAnswers advisory board and attends regular planning meetings and strategy sessions.

More about RCOES: The Rice Center for Organizational Effectiveness Studies (RCOES) is a nonprofit, interdisciplinary entity affiliated with Rice University. A fundamental assumption of RCOES is that the effectiveness of organizations depends to a large extent on how well these organizations use their human resources.

RCOES has the following objectives:
  • Promote interactions and alliances among faculty at Rice who are concerned with issues of organizational effectiveness.
  • Promote basic and applied research on organizational effectiveness.
  • Secure funding for this research by establishing relationships with the business community.
  • Disseminate the findings of research on strategies to organizations in the public and private sectors to improve individual and team performance.
Primary participants are currently from the Department of Psychology and the Jones Graduate School of Management. However, the intent is to provide a vehicle for collaboration among a diverse group of faculty ensuring greater depth of abilities and insights.
